Hey everyone,

Florida Free Culture's last general meeting of the semester will be
tomorrow, April 2nd. We'll be having a talk on net neutrality by
Professor Subhajyoti Bandyopadhyay, a professor in UF's department of
Decision and Information Sciences. Refreshments will be served.

Dr. Bandyopadhyay is the author of a recent study that concluded that
abandoning Net neutrality would discourage ISPs from improving service.

His talk will be at 6:30pm in the Reitz Union room 121 (Johnson Lounge).
Everyone involved in IT should get up to speed on this important issue,
so I hope to see you there!

For more information about the research, see the story from UF’s news
site: http://news.ufl.edu/2007/03/07/net-neutrality/
For more on net neutrality, see SaveTheInternet.com:
http://www.savetheinternet.com/

Thanks,
Nile
President, Florida Free Culture
