This call for papers is from the International Studies Association, and I'm passing it on because I thought it might be of interest.

The European Consortium for Political Research's (ECPR) Sixth
Pan-European International Relations Conference will take place in
Turin, Italy from 12-15 September 2007.
The conference is divided into 25 separate sections with a number of
panels included in each. Colleagues from Trinity College Dublin are
responsible for 'Section 1: Approaches to International Relations in an
Age of Terror: Places, Spaces and Risks.' I, in turn, am looking for
contributors for a panel within that section entitled 'Terrorism, the
Internet, and International Relations.'
I am interested in receiving proposals for papers exploring the impact
of the Internet on terrorist violence and its representation in the wake
of 9/11 and thus contributing to the analysis of 'new' international
spaces and their importance to both the theory and practice of
contemporary IR.
Proposals should NOT be sent to me, but MUST be submitted via the ECPR
website.
See http://www.sgir.org/conference2007/index.htm.
The deadline for paper proposals is *31 January 2007*.
(It is also worth noting that the ECPR's General Conference takes place
in Pisa just days before the IR conference! More info. at
http://www.essex.ac.uk/ecpr/events/generalconference/pisa/index.aspx).
Regards,
Maura
