A bit more information on eTelemetry's Metron EBA appliance ("real-time Organizational Network Analysis") from the news releases, for those who haven't seen them:

Metron builds upon its existing ONA capabilities to provide graphical and tabular reports that empower managers and executives to see communication patterns in their organizations, including informal collaborative groups. Key connectors and "linchpins" are discovered, enabling managers and executives to identify key employees, be more efficient, and reduce risk. Included in Metron EBA are industry standard ONA stats, such as: 

Betweenness - The degree an individual lies between the communication paths of others. 

Centrality Closeness - Represents how close individuals are to the center of the organization's network. 

Centrality Degree - The number of connections an individual has to others in the organization.
