The Institute for Social and Economic Research (ISER) at the
University of Essex (UK) have a vacancy at the full professor level
for a quantitative social scientist.

We seek a person who will consolidate and extend ISER's world-class
reputation in quantitative analysis of social science research issues.
We seek a social scientist with the capabilities and vision to address
developing research agendas in an innovative manner and in a
multidisciplinary context. (Disciplinary affiliation per se of the
post-holder is less important.) The candidate is expected to undertake
a programme of research and to lead a team of researchers, to secure
funding for new projects, and to supervise research students and teach
occasional courses. There are no undergraduate teaching duties
currently associated with the post.
