RE: CHANGE IN PROCEDURE: TRANSFER CREDIT REQUESTS
As you are aware, this year's budget recall has shifted our attention to
evaluating processes and making changes that will help to alleviate costs in
areas of limited resources.
In the matter of requesting transfers of graduate credit:
Please do not attach a transcript to transfer of credit request forms IF:
(1) The credit was earned at UF; or
(2) The student was admitted to your graduate program Fall 2003 or later.
This is because transcripts from applicants admitted Fall 2003 and later are
viewable on ISIS Admin (Applicants >> Imaging >> Graduate Applicants). If
you do not have access to the graduate admission portion of ISIS Admin,
please contact Rick Bryant ([log in to unmask]) for assistance.
Please continue to forward a copy of the transcript (front and back) IF:
(1) The student was admitted before Fall 2003; or
(2) The Office of Admissions does not have a final, official transcript on
Requests that cannot be approved will be returned to you with an
explanation. Approved requests will be forwarded to the Office of Admission
for posting to the student's transcript. If you do not see the credit posted
to the transcript within two weeks of your request, please email Teresa Geer
([log in to unmask]) for assistance.
