My dog is on dogbook. He finds that it helps him keep in touch with his weak
ties from the dog park and to coordinate playdates with his strong ties.
It's also a great source of social capital. This weekend he's getting a
great discount on his new winter coat through the his best friend's owner's
sister. That's a 3 degree chain if Nan Lin is counting. Four links if you
count the human with the credit card (Me!). All links are on
facebook/dogbook as appropriate to their species.
