Hello,
This message is to invite you to a forum on Regional Water Issues
December 5th at 6:15 pm in Leigh Hall, room 207 hosted by the
Environment, Science, and Policy Society.
The participating panelists include:
--Dr. Matthew Cohen, Assistant Professor of forest water resources and
hydrology in the School of Forest Resources and Conservation
--Cynthia Barnett, author of Mirage: Florida and the Vanishing Water of
the Eastern U.S,
--Christine Klein, LL.M., J.D., Associate Dean and professor from the
University of Florida's Levin college of Law
The panelists will give short presentations based on their
expertise, and a discussion section with the audience will follow.
Please see the attachments for more information.
This should be a very interesting event discussing the linkages
between science and policy, specifically dealing with water.
Hope to see you there,
Kathryn Judith Tancig
