Subject: Devil's Hole Pupfish MS candidates needed
I will have two MS positions opening this fall (2008) for working on propagation techniques and tje biology of Devils Hole Pupfish. The student would have a great opportunity to work with Federal and State fisheries managers, researchers and biologists on one of the highest-profile desert fishes to hopefully help bring it back from the brink of extinction.
I am looking for two really special people for this one. They should have rock-solid people skills, the ability to follow things through to completion, and maturity. Also a strong interest in non game fishes and aquarium fish breeding and care is optimal.
If you have undergrads in your department that fit the bill, and might be interested, please have them contact me to be considered at [log in to unmask] This is a great opportunity for the right people.
Thanks very much!
