Dear SOCNET members,
We are delighted to announce that the AIS special interest group on modeling
and simulation (SIGMAS: <http://www.ais-sigmas.org/>
http://www.AIS-SIGMAS.org/) is now highly positioned in the organization of
AMCIS 2009, San Francisco by organizing its own track on "Analytical
Modeling" with strong emphasis on Modeling & Simulation. SIGMAS is a sole
initiator, sponsor and organizer of this track
As you know, AMCIS consists of different tracks and each track is comprised
of several mini-tracks on interrelated topics. The mini-tracks are invited
by the track chairs.
As a premier conference in the field of Information Systems, AMCIS has
became a prestigious venue for researchers, practitioners, and visionary
thinkers to share their expertise, learn from fellow researchers, and shape
the future of Information Systems in a broad perspective.
We invite the SOCNET members to organize their specialized mini-tracks in
the field of their research interests and expertise under the umbrella of
the "Analytical Modeling" track.
To take a look at the "Analytical Modeling" track description on the SIGMAS
website, click here: <http://www.ais-sigmas.org/amcis.php>

We look forward to receiving your proposals of one or two paragraphs by
October 2 and would be happy to review them.
Best regards,
Joseph Barjis
(SIGMAS Chair)
