Title: Water flow and Reactive Transport Modeling applications in soil and water science
Reactive transport modeling is a powerful tool for understanding and predicting physical, chemical, and biological interactions in the environment. Our group is examining research questions in groundwater and wetland systems at multiple spatial and temporal scales. Example applications of reactive transport modeling to these systems will be discussed to illustrate how modeling can both help integrate conceptual understanding and make useful predictions for environmental managers. The presentation will close with a discussion of potential unexplored research opportunities for reactive transport modeling in soil and water science.
