HONORS OFFICE ANNOUNCEMENTS

1.	ACADEMIC ANNOUNCEMENT: Summer / Fall Course Registration:
Summer / Fall registration is approaching quickly. You can view the online schedule of courses at www.registrar.ufl.edu/soc . The course descriptions for honors courses are available online at www.honors.ufl.edu

To find your registration start time, visit ISIS, www.isis.ufl.edu , and click on "Registration Prep". This is the time you may begin registering for summer/fall courses online. Note that you do not meet with an advisor to register - everything is done on ISIS.

**All students should check ISIS to view any holds.**

All holds must be removed prior to registering for courses. In most cases, an honors advisor *cannot* remove these holds for you.

All engineering majors must meet with an advisor in engineering (*not honors*) to get your engineering advising hold removed. To view the list of engineering advisors by department, visit http://www.eng.ufl.edu/studentaffairs/advising/index.php

Please plan ahead now, so there won't be any problems once registration begins.

Remember, if you want to meet with an honors advisor, please call 352-392-1519 to make an appointment, rather than e-mailing an advisor directly.

2.	SCHOLARSHIP / AWARD: Wentworth Freshman Scholarship (NEW POSTING):
The deadline to apply for the Wentworth Freshman Scholarship is Friday, April 3 at 5:00pm. Applicants must be Honors students who enrolled in at least 14 credits in the Fall 2008 semester and earned at least a 3.75 GPA. For complete details and an application, please visit http://www.honors.ufl.edu/honorsscholarships.html#wentworth
