Good morning, Stephen,
At the Air Force Academy, we have 2 reiterations of our Study Skills courses, one for "at risk" cadets identified at the beginning of the semester, one for those placed on academic probation at mid-term. For our "at risk": 10 lessons in a classroom setting (time management, goal setting, reading skills, note-taking, memory, etc.); 10 lessons, out-of-class individual academic tutoring, and then back in the classroom setting for a "how goes it" and brief study skills review (# of lessons vary). At midterm, probationary cadets are assigned a 15-lesson Study Skills course, lessons the same as those listed above. I'd be happy to send you a sample 15-lesson syllabus if you'd like.
Make it a great day!!!!

Subject: Course for students on Probation
Our university is in the process of designing a "probation recovery" course for conditionally admitted students placed on probation within their first year. I would appreciate sample syllabi or suggestions.
