Hi Water Institute Faculty and Students....
Note these two recent "Dear Colleague" letters from NSF....
1) seeking to increase collaboration between the geosciences and the social and behavioral sciences by augmenting funding for interdisciplinary research related to Environment, Society, and the Economy

There will be no special calls for these proposals, they should be submitted to a regular GEO ,BIO, or SBE program.
These themes are both closely related to the recent Science and Technology Center proposal we submitted to NSF and our current Water Institute Program Initiation Fund RFP. We will likely facilitate interdisciplinary groups to submit proposals to one or more of the following...Hydrologic Sciences deadline (June 1), Ecosystem Sciences deadline (July 9), Geobiology deadline (July 16) and/or Coupled Human and Natural Systems Deadline (Nov 17). Send me a quick email if you are interested in participating.
