     Food waste digestion has received national attention. Cara
Peck, an EPA employee in the San Francisco Bay area, has been
nominated for the Service to America Medal by the Partnership for
Public Service. She has been working with using food waste for
anaerobic digestion by diverting it from landfills. We're rooting
for Peck to win. Hopefully this will bring increased public
awareness and support of food waste digestion.
