I am new to this list but I was hoping someone would be able to help me. I
am a PHD student from Ukraine and I am doing a study on how students, native
speakers of English communicate with their professors via email in American
universities/colleges. I am in particular interested in topics, purposes and
pragmatic-stylistic features of such exchanges.
I am currently building my database and I was wondering if anyone would be
willing to participate in the study by contributing a few emails written at
some point in time to one or more instructors. I am specifically looking for
email messages initiated by students, with no limitations on the purposes
and topics of these emails (be it just a small talk or solving some issue).
