I would recommend Notings's text, Winning at Math: Your Guide to Learning
Mathematics Through Successful Study Skills. It includes a good CD, How to
Reduce Test Anxiety.

Subject: math/science tutor training texts
Hi all,
I just started a job at a tutoring center that provides services in all
subject areas. My background is in writing centers, and I was wondering if
anyone knows of any tutor training texts for math/science (books, websites,
articles, etc.) that might be helpful. I've found the Bedford Guide for
Writing Tutors and the St. Martin's Sourcebook helpful, and am curious if
there's any subject-area tutoring equivalent.
Thanks!
