The Lok Sabha (Lower House of the Indian Parliament), aims to
add 1,700 MW of biomass and bagasse based cogeneration power to
India's electric grid from 2007-2012. IREDA (Indian Renewable
Energy Development Agency Limited) is the company that plans on
giving out loans to bioenergy producers across the country, in
order to meet the objectives of the Lok Sabha. The link to this
