The annual Graduate Coordinators/Graduate Staff Orientation and Workshop will be held on Monday, September 14, 2009, in the Grand Ballroom at the Reitz Union.
The Orientation session will be 9:00am-11:45am.
This session is for coordinators and staff who are new to their position in graduate education. Topics include an overview of graduate education at UF and how Graduate School units partner with academic units, and overviews of Graduate Admissions, Academic Personnel, and the UF International Center.
The Workshop session will be 1:00pm-4:00 pm.
This session is for new and returning coordinators and staff. The topics presented are updates/changes in policy, process or procedures from the Graduate School units, Academic Personnel, Student Financial Affairs, Graduate Admissions, International Center.
I ask your help to make sure we address questions, issues, and clarify policies and procedures in your daily work with graduate students.

4. Please RSVP for BOTH sessions.
As always, thank you for all your work with our nearly 12,000 graduate students. Your efforts are critical to the success of graduate education at the University of Florida.
