Many thanks to those of you who emailed me tips and feedback regarding
studying roles in social networks!
Several of you pointed out that "roles in social networks" was a huge
area, and that I might get more targeted feedback if my request was more
precise, so here I go:
I am in particular looking at the roles of "boundary spanners", "opinion
leaders", and "major content contributors" in the context of social
networks in online communities. Any pointers to previous work related to
these particular roles as well as methodologies regarding identifying
and studying them would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again,
Viil
