Good Evening BESTers,
Digestion of campus food waste has gained another victory.
Purdue University is digesting its food waste at a municipal
wastewater treatment to generate electricity. The project saves 5
tons of food waste a week from being sent to the landfill, and
produces an organic fertilizer for local farms. It's time we
bring this technology to Florida's universities.
