If you are interested in rates for other countries, I can speak on the
UK. Here 49% of Internet users have a profile on a Social Network
Site, according to the latest Oxford Internet Survey.
The report is available here:
This is from a weighted stratified sample of Great Britain, conducted
in February. We didn't specify which SNS, as that would have
complicated the matter. The 2009 data is not publicly available, but
if you have a specific interest in pulling other numbers, I'm sure I
can work something out.
