Others should write more, but I do want to recall that Frank wrote the
great Harvard dissertation, "Crisis in a Cloister". About a whole-network
study in a monastery, over time.
He could never improve it enough to meet his standards to put it in book
form, alas. However, he made U Vermont a supportive place for social
network analysis/structural analysis with Steve Berkowitz [RIP], Beth
Mintz, Jim Loewen and Fitz.
