Dear Colleague,

We will be hiring a post-doctoral fellow for a project on the network dynamics of a global market, beginning in January 2010. 

We are seeking a postdoctoral fellow to be an active member of our research team (permanent colleagues and doctoral students), willing/able to travel and participate in interdisciplinary research. 

Applicants for this position should have a strong interest in economic sociology and in network analysis, as well as a demonstrated research experience in related areas of study. The postdoc should have strong quantitative and data analysis skills, but also be comfortable in the collection and analysis of qualitative interview-based data. A background in social network methods and software is required.

25% of the job will consist of handling the logisitics of the project.

The full time position will be available as early as January 2010. The initial appointment is for 12 months, renewable for a second year.
