Open for all faculty and students interested in international development opportunities!
The event is aimed to increase awareness of non-profits (NGOs) and private voluntary organizations (PVOs) in the international development arena. In addition to expert panels on current topics of international importance, faculty and students can meet with representatives from national and international non-profit and for-profit organizations during a student career information fair and special faculty session. Panel presentations include topics on Youth Development, Climate Change and the Environment, Gender and Food Security and Short and Long Term Opportunities with NGOs/PVOs.
The event is co-sponsored by the Institute for Food and Agricultural Sciences International Programs, Center for Women's Studies and Gender Research, Department of Housing and Residence Education, Career Resource Center, NSF-funded Innovation through Institutional Integration (I-Cubed) Program, Center for Latin American Studies, Center for African Studies, African American Studies, Honors College and Center for Undergraduate Research.
