I had trouble with 10.04 on a Dell Latitude D505, all Intel chipsets and video, etc.  I get black screen and no activity.  Apparently some Intel video regressions out there.

This was fresh install, not an Update.  Went back to 9.10 (fresh install) and everything works great.

It's a bummer that the Ubuntu folks are so hard-set on release dates.

I upgraded an old IBM x306 from 9.10 and now it will not finish
booting. It seems to hang right after performing fsck.
