The first commercial anaerobic digester will be built in Wales. RF 
Brookes, food manufacturing company, received a grant to build and 
promote AD which it will use on its processing food waste. The 
energy will in-turn help power the factory's day-to-day 
operations. Wales has always been ahead of the curve since they 
already have local authorities collecting separated food waste. 
They seem to be heading in the right direction, setting up a good 
example of how AD could be done on a large scale.
