RE: UF Career Resource Center: "Tour de CRC" and Workshops, January 13
The UF Career Resource Center (CRC) will open its doors for a day-long, whirlwind "Tour de CRC" from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. this Thursday, January 13, 2010 in an event co-hosted with UF Student Government.
This is not your average open house. On each stage of the tour, there will be highlights of different services that will help students throughout their race to graduation. In case students get thirsty or hungry, we will have snacks.
There is no better way to become familiarized with the educational and informative services at the CRC. Upon completion of the tour, participants will be better prepared and more informed for Spring Career Showcase and will have gained insight on all the CRC can offer in terms of career planning and job searching. Various stages set up throughout the CRC will educate tour participants on topics of interest to them. Participants will be able to choose their routes depending on their needs, for instance "Cycle into Career Choices" or "Gear Up for Grad School or Job Searching." Also, a variety of workshops will be presented. Participants are encouraged to attend those that interest them. Workshop topics include:
Pedaling Your Route Through the CRC (11:45 a.m.)
Crossing the BRIDGE to the Local Internship Finish Line (12:45 p.m.)
Taking your Resume from Two-Speed to 10-speed (1:30 p.m.)
Hope to see you there!
