RE:     April 21: "Fulbright Day" Workshops on Applying for Fulbright Grants and Fellowships

UF International Center and the I-Cubed Program will present "Fulbright Day" on April 21, 2011, from 3 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., in Rooms 361-363 of the Reitz Union.

Workshops for Students: How to Apply for Fulbright U.S. Student Program Grants and Fellowship Opportunities:
- Learn about available funding opportunities 
- Hear about the application process 
- Listen to past Fulbright scholars and students share about their experiences abroad 
- Receive individual consultations 

Presented by Fulbright Guest Speakers:
- Andy Riess, Scholar and Professional Programs, Institute of International Education (IIE)
- Walter Jackson, U.S. Student Programs, Institute of International Education (IIE)

Target audience: U.S. graduate students interested in international study/research grant projects; English teaching assistantships abroad; creative, performing and visual arts projects abroad; and creative writing and journalism projects abroad.

Grants and fellowships are available in ALL fields of study and in the following world regions:
- Sub-Saharan Africa
- East Asia & Pacific Region
- Europe and Eurasia
- Near East/North Africa
- The Western Hemisphere
- South & Central Asia
