Tired of the Snow and Freezing Temps?
Join The NTA in Alaska in April!
Yes, Alaska!
Wedged berween between the two arms of Cook Inlet and the imposing
Chugach Mountains, Anchorage is home to over 40% of Alaska's population
and it is the state's transport hub. Anchorage is a sprawling city on
the edge of one of the world's great wildernesses including Mt.
McKinley. The weather in April is a beautiful spring-like 55 degrees
with little to no chance of rain and long day-light hours perfect for
exploring. Come to Alaska and meet an Iditarid dog, touch a bald eagle,
see a glacier, enjoy the many native giftshops, explore the cultural
center, and get called a "Cheechako," or newcomer!
