Dear All,
SBP11 registration is now open - http://www.umiacs.umd.edu/conferences/sbp2011/.
In addition to the high quality of contributing papers (acceptance
rate of 31% for full papers), we have a great set of tutorials and
keynote speakers this year. The technical program, the tutorials and
the keynote information can be found from the conference web site.
In addition, the SBP11 Organizing Committee would like to inform you or your student that SBP11 has obtained
grant funding to provide a number of travel scholarships for students to attend SBP11. These awards
will cover up to $800 for registration, travel, and lodging expenses.
To apply for reimbursement, student applicants must send an email to Patrick Roos ([log in to unmask]
<[log in to unmask]" target="_blank">http:[log in to unmask]> ). This email should also be copied to Inon Zuckerman ([log in to unmask]
<[log in to unmask]" target="_blank">http:[log in to unmask]> ).
The email must include the following:
1. Confirmation that the student is planning to attend SBP 2011
2. Confirmation that the student wants to apply for the bursary
3. A simple letter of support by a faculty member confirming the applicant's student status
