I have to tell you the sad news that Ray died peacefully last Friday 3td 
June.  He was in a nursing home in Church Stoke, and until very recently 
he was well enough to walk slowly along the corridor and enjoy a glass of 
Prosecco.  He died in his sleep with one of his friends sitting by his 
bedside.

The funeral will be held at St John the Baptist Church in Bishops Castle, 
Shropshire, at 2.00pm on Tuesday 28 June.  His family will warmly welcome 
any friends and colleagues who would like to attend. Family flowers only, 
but donations in his name can be made to Amnesty International or to Stone 
House Community Hospital, Bishops Castle.

Cards can also be sent to his house, as there will be usually one of us 
staying here.
