RE: UF Center for European Studies Call for Proposals
The Center for European Studies (CES) at the University of Florida is soliciting proposals for its Graduate Student Brown Bag Series. UF graduate students, in any discipline, whose research focuses on Europe (broadly defined), are encouraged to submit proposals. Students whose proposals are selected will be invited to present their research at the weekly Brown Bag Series.
Proposals should consist of a short (150 words) description of the research project and its relevance to European studies, and should be e-mailed to Gail Keeler at [log in to unmask] with "Graduate Student Brown Bag Series" in the "Subject" (or "Re:") line.
There is no deadline for submissions and proposals will be reviewed on a regular basis.
In Fall 2011, the Brown Bag Series will meet on Wednesdays during 5th Period (11:45 a.m. to 12:35 p.m.) in 3312 Turlington Hall. The CES provides finger food, chips, and sodas. Attendees are encouraged to bring brown bag lunches.
