RE: October 10: UF Information Technology Security Awareness Day Expo
UF Information Technology Security Awareness (ITSA) Day is a free event for students to learn about protecting themselves and their computers from online threats such as identity theft, online scams and computer viruses. ITSA Day also features an IT Expo where attendees can get information from a variety of industry leading companies and register to win great prizes -- including laptops and an iPad! In addition, the UF Computing Helpdesk will help you install Secunia, software that UF provides to help keep your computer secure by updating all your software -- and the UF Police Department will be giving away Frontdoor, software that helps locate your laptop if it is lost or stolen.
