The deadline for Sunbelt XXXII is approaching fast!
We are organizing a session on relational event modeling and would like to encourage those of you working on these models or their applications to submit your abstract to this session.
These are models that we think are suitable for time-stamped relational event-type data such as email communications, posts at forums, phone-calls, etc. (see Carter Butts’ 2008 Sociological Methodology paper).
If you are interested in presenting a paper in the session on Relational Event Models, please
(A) send an e-mail to Johan Koskinen and/or Eric Quintane (addresses given below) with the title of your paper, and your abstract by November 30th, 2011.
You will *also* need to
(B) submit your abstract on the conference website (http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=sunbelt2012) by November 30th, 2011.
When you do this:
- check “Event-based Networks” under the topics.
- check “scientific talk preferred”.
- In the keyword section type “Quintane/Koskinen Relational Event Models Session”
