Hi Eelke,
A couple of months ago I started a page to compare several off-the-shelf
options for embedding webs on the web.
http://skyeome.net/projects/networkChart/comparison.html
Since then people have let me know about two other JavaScript / HTML5
tools which I haven't had a chance to test, but they look great:
http://thejit.org/demos/
http://mbostock.github.com/d3/ex/force.html
If you have access to server environment and web programmers, I've also
been helping with a project to build an interactive wrapper framework
for Graphviz for displaying heavily annotated networks on the web:
http://code.google.com/p/nodeviz/
And here is a project I've been building using the NodeViz framework to
show grant funding links between US conservative organisations:
http://angelsoftheright.net/
I'd be interested in talking more about what could be done with your
interlock data...
best,
-skye
