RE: Upcoming Graduate Research Conference: "Putting the Pieces Together? Interdisciplinary Solutions for the Modern World"
Columbus State University (Columbus, Georgia, USA) is calling for proposals for the 2012 meetings of the Interdisciplinary Graduate Research Conference there on October 25, 2012.
The theme of the conference is "Putting the Pieces Together? Interdisciplinary Solutions for the Modern World." The rise of globalization, rapid dissemination of information and increased interconnectivity has drastically changed the dynamic of everyday existence. What challenges will we face in this new world as a result of the ever-growing rise and distribution of technology and increased spread of culture and ideas?
Graduate students from all disciplines are encouraged to submit their research for discussion and review. Proposals need not address the selected theme.
The deadline for submissions is September 7, 2012. Acceptances will be offered on a rolling basis, with organized panels no later than October 1, 2012.
The registration cost for the conference is $75.
