RE: October 24-25: UF "Ethics Week" Workshops
The UF Marston Science Library is proud to host its second annual Responsible Conduct of Research "Ethics Week" workshops. This year we offer seminars on two of the hottest issues in ethics: mentorship and data management.
Mark your calendars for the following workshops:
October 24, 2012, 10:30 a.m. to noon: Ben Dunn, Director of the UF-HHMI Science for Life Program, will speak on mentoring. He will address establishing a relationship with a mentor/mentee, repairing a problematic relationship, and whether/how to break up and find a replacement.
October 25, 2012, 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.: Marc Branham of Entomology & Nematology will speak on data management. He has recently served as an NSF reviewer, and he will discuss what NSF reviewers are seeking in data management plans, data ownership perspectives, best practices, and case studies.
Registration for the workshops is recommended:
Both workshops will be held in the Marston Science Library, Room 107.
