RE: Proposals for National Outreach Scholarship Conference Due April 11
The call for proposals for the 13th Annual Meeting of the National Outreach Scholarship Conference is now open.
Proposal submissions are due April 11, 2012.
This year's event will be hosted by the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, September 30 to October 3, 2012.
The theme for 2012 is "Partner, Inspire, Change."
Among those who should and will attend are graduate students who are engaged in service-learning activities or who are studying the impact of service-learning and community engagement, as well as university and college faculty who are involved in engaged scholarship or studying the impacts of engaged scholarship.

The National Outreach Scholarship Conference (NOSC) is a nonprofit educational organization composed of member state/public and private higher education institutions. Its goal is to work collaboratively to build strong university-community partnerships anchored in the rigor of scholarship and designed to build community capacity.
