Subject: Integrated-interdisciplinary fisheries management graduate course offered this fall
Wendy,
Some students associated with the water institute may be interested in FAS6935c Fisheries Management, which is now offered every fall and has no prerequisites.
The course provides an integrated-interdisciplinary perspective on fisheries management issues. It also equips students with skills for, and hands-on experience in interdisciplinary problem-solving for natural resource management and conservation. Specialist prior knowledge of fisheries is not required and the course is open to students from all relevant natural and social science disciplines. The preliminary syllabus for fall 2012 can be found at: http://www.aquaticresources.org/pubs/Syllabus_FAS6355c.pdf
Please forward to your listserv.
Thanks!
Kai
