RE: March 20, 2 p.m.: "Restless Fires" Author Jim Hunt to Speak at UF
Dr. Jim Hunt, author of "Restless Fires," will be visiting UF for a talk on Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at 2 p.m. in the Room 282 of the Reitz Union Room on the UF campus. His book chronicles John Muir's historical 1,000-mile walk through the South after the Civil War. It provides unique insight into the legendary conservationist's views of humans and nature. Muir's insights are a memorable history lesson, as well as, his understanding of how human beings fit into the environment.
Presented by the UF School of Natural Resources & Environment, UF Graduate Student Council and the NSF-funded UF Innovation through Institutional Integration (I-Cubed) Program.
