RE: Call for Articles from UF Graduate Student Council: February 4 Deadline
The UF Graduate Student Council's (GSC) newsletter, "The Grad Cannon," is a platform by which graduate student can launch ideas, with parts written by students themselves, along with contributions from faculty and various entities on campus.
The newsletter is working on a "Call for Innovative Research" issue. We need UF graduate students to contribute by writing short articles on upcoming research in their fields, interesting research studies in any field, or an opinion piece on something you've found interesting in research literature.
The goal of this issue is to expand graduate students' knowledge of research going on outside their own field and to educate each other on what's developing in various departments.
Please consider submitting an article, no more than 1,000 words, on research or reading you've found interesting lately. Please e-mail all articles by 5 p.m. on February 4, 2013 to the newsletter chair, Sanjeev Gangadharan at [log in to unmask], or to the GSC secretary, Whitney Fung, at [log in to unmask]
