"Postdoctoral Fellow in Hydrology" has been added by Aly El-Kadi to Listserve
- CZEN on CZEN.org.
A primary goal of an on-going research effort is to identify
vulnerabilities and risks to water resources in targeted Pacific Island
communities resulting from climate variability, land use changes, and
increased
demand. We are recruiting a postdoctoral
fellow to use the output from regional climate model projections as input to
watershed and groundwater models for investigating changes in freshwater
availability and water quality at island-wide and watershed scales. Minimum
qualifications include a Ph.D. degree
at the time of appointment and a strong background in hydrology or
hydrogeology.
The position requires experience in numerical simulations, advanced skills in
GIS and computer modeling, and excellent oral and written communication
skills.
Experience in using MIKE SHE is a plus. The appointment will be for a year
with
potential renewal based on performance and availability of funds. The annual
stipend
is $42,000-$50,400 commensurate with qualifications and experience. The
position is immediately open and will remain as such until filled.
Applicants should send a current CV and the names and contact
information of three references by email to:
