Dear Colleagues,
Early in January, 2014, Paul Greenhall will retire. He plans to "go quietly", but we're conspiring to make his retirement a little less quiet! Paul is a fine fellow.
Since the tragic loss of beloved Cynthia Ahearn, Paul has quietly stepped in and taken over all transactions involving the echinoderm collections. He has taken care of visitors, and in general he has been a splendid ambassador for our echinoderm section at this museum. Above all, Paul is a humane person, kind, understanding, and good-humored. We will miss him terribly.
If you know Paul, or if you have had communications with him regarding echinoderm matters, please send him an e-mail wishing him well. We trust that a shower of e-mails will help him through the difficult transition from a museum denizen to a normal human being!
Thanks much, and best wishes, Dave Pawson.
