Hello:
I am searching to see where placement testing is most often aligned organizationally. At our College, it moves around - Admissions schedules the student for the test, the librarian loads and proctors the test as the bank of computers is in the Library, and prints the student score, then walks the student back to the Registrar/Admissions office. At Admissions, then any further decision, if one needs to be made, is addressed.
Presently, there is discussion about moving the entire process into Admissions, or into Student Services - Accommodations, or moving it to a Learning Resource Center where advisors are located.
I would appreciate anyone's thoughts on this subject.
Thank you!
Sue
