Hi Megan.
We don't give names to faculty unless there is a very good reason to do
so, e.g. extra credits or any other benefit to the student. However, we
have not had many requests, ever. I do, though, confirm whether a student
has visited the center or not, with no other details. This happened a
couple of times last semester when a student "defended" their poor work by
saying a tutor had advised them to do it that way.

Megan,
We donšt give out student names to faculty. If faculty want to know who
comes in for tutoring, they give students forms and the tutors will sign
them. We want the request to come from the student, not the faculty
member. You didnšt mention why the faculty members want the names. Is it
for extra credit?
Best,
Marsha
