Sue,
At National Louis University, placement testing is done through the library, which contains the student earning support resources. The library inherited testing from the former learning center, which was cut four years ago due to budget downsizing. Placement testing being housed with the student learning resources though is a good fit here since we can be involved with how students are assessed and then how they can get any assistance they need based on those assessments.

Subject: question about administering placement tests
Hello:
I am from Mercy College, a small (1200+ enrollment) private college offering AS and BS degrees, primarily in health care fields. We are switching to Accuplacer for placement tests. While many questions are being asked, the one I am seeking feedback on is this:
QUESTION: In your organization/institution, where (location) are placement tests done/given?
In the library, in Admissions, registrar, through advising department, etc.
Thank you for your responses on this. It might help our discussions move forward.
