Open postdoctoral position in the Machine Learning and Sensing Lab at the University of Florida

Our lab is looking for a motivated scientist interested in an opportunity to conduct interdisciplinary research in Machine Learning and Plant Physiology. Our research efforts will be focusing on developing machine learning algorithms to collect and analyze phenotypic data.Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications :

• Strong programming skills in Python (and/or Matlab)
• Background (or interest in and strong motivation to learn) Machine Learning, Pattern Recognition and/or Signal/Image Processing
• Experience (or interest in and strong motivation to learn) biological systems and some understanding of ecological
theory or plant physiology
• Eagerness to work in and help lead interdisciplinary teams across plant science, agroecology and computer engineering

We will be working in collaboration with the Center for Stress Resilient Agriculture and the TREC Agroecology lab at the University of Florida
