* Introduce any new participants
* Report/discussion of R geospatial workshop (will likely defer most/all 
of this to the following meeting)
* Update on travel awards
* Plan for board positions (chair, secretary, etc.), including documentation
* Elections procedure: how to deal with (or prevent) ties
