Copenhagen Business School invites applications for up to two Post Doc Positions with backgrounds in Sociology, Economics, Computational Social  Science, Computer Science, or related fields at the Department of Organization. Expected starting date is April 1, 2021.

The Post Doc position(s) are time-limited for two years (with a possible teaching-based extension of one year) and connected to the research activities of the three-year Carlsberg Foundation project “NetCareers – Careers through Complex Networks” led by Associate Professor Lasse Folke Henriksen. The Post Doc will work on modeling population scale networks using full-population register data. The project is focused on how networks shape generational mobility, career mobility and stratification outcomes in general. Through a network lens, the project seeks to understand structural patterns in movement of individuals through institutions and organizations over the full life course. The NetCareers project assembles an inter-disciplinary team of junior and senior scholars from the sciences and social sciences to develop new techniques for studying complex network trajectories at population scale. The team will be embedded at the Department of Organization at Copenhagen Business School.
