I am helping organise an event involving international arbitrators (alternative dispute resolution globally) dealing with the effects of COVID on their working and am trying to find social scientists to contribute. However, while looking at various fields (agile working, network disruption, crisis management) I find a sort of "gap". There are plenty of people working on "big disaster" (earthquakes and such) and plenty of people (obviously) working on organisational networks but I'm not seeing anyone who tackles organisational change in crisis (i. e. rescues of failing organisations and the change management involved from a network perspective.) The other constraint is people who are "applied"/"empirical" since the arbitrators will be hoping to learn things that will help them.
Any leads (volunteers?) gratefully accepted. Perhaps there are technical or field name times I am not aware of: Google is not good at this kind of "conceptual" search.
All the best,
Edmund (School of Media, Communication and Sociology, University of Leicester, UK)
